Don 2: Over Styled and Over- Hyped

The Badshah (as they say) is back with his Don avtaar. But this time it seems he forgot the character what he portrayed in previous version.
The plot involves Don surrendering himself to the interpol just to get Vardhan(Boman Irani) his old enemy out of the Malaysian jail so as they could team up and steal the currency plates from the Deutsche Zentral Bank . For this Don uses Sameer Ali(Kunal Kapoor) the hacker, Ayesha(Lara Dutta), Jabbar(Nawab Shah) and Diwaan the bank VP(Aly Khan) in the plan.
The movie comes with a lot of unnecessary stuff which dissappoint like a 15 minute car chase between Roma the inter-pole officer(Priyanka Chopra) and Don, cocky dialougues ,unnecessary characters (like the one of Jabbar played by Nawaab Shah).
Simple logic could had been used in some scenes instead of stretching them, like in the scene where the inter-pole try to find out the second person(J K Diwaan) sitting in the car with Don, instead of investigating the people where he got into the car, they try find the person who has seen him getting off the car on his traveled route.
The movie comes with some very nice action routines, stylish cinematography, background score that flows with the style, over-styled and over-flamboyant Shah Rukh Khan.
Overall I go with 2 out of 5 stars for the exoticly shot Berlin and some thrilling Thai style action.
Wait for the DVD or the national TV premiere, no need to rush to the cinema halls.
